Medicare is a government national health insurance program in the US. It is administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
A Medicare Supplement plan is also called Medigap.
Generally when you buy a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) Plan you must have Medicare Part A and Part B. All medigap policies must follow Federal and state laws.
A Medicare Advantage plan would be an alternate option besides a Medicare Supplement. Advantage plans are presented by Private Insurance companies and offer extra benefits such as vision and dental.
6 months prior to your 65th birthday you should reach out! We'll schedule a meeting about 3 months prior to your birthday day and get you on track!
Already missed that window? It's ok! you have up until 3 months after your birthday to sign up with out accruing a penalty fee.
